Sleeping Indian Landscape - Fallbrook, CA, USA
Sleeping Indian Landscape, a mural painted by artist Brett Stokes, is part of Fallbrook Art in Public Places. It depicts the local geographic feature - the hills in the background - known as "The Sleeping Indian" as the area once looked. The mural was gifted to the community by the Sutliff Family.

Mayors' House - Escondido, CA, USA
Located on a hilltop south of downtown Escondido, this house was built circa 1900 (some reports say as early as 1879). Because it has been home to several of Escondido's city mayors through the years it is referred to as The Mayors' House.

Holroyd Confectionary - Oceanside, CA, USA
Built circa 1922 this house was the residence of John H. and Grace S. (Maberry) Holroyd. They lived here during the mid-to-late 1920s and Mrs. Holroyd operated a confectionary and later a lunch room at the home. John H. Holroyd had a background working in refrigeration and was a Chief Engineer with the Union Ice Company. Prior to their marriage, Grace had been a public school teacher in her home state of Illinois. They married in the early 1920s and in early 1924 Grace was operating a confectionary at their home in Pacific Beach, California. They moved to this location in Oceanside where, according to County Directories, Grace was operating a confectionary in 1927 and a lunch room in 1929.

Tree For Elijah - Carlsbad, CA, USA
This approximately 10 ft tall steel sculpture by the late artist, Italo Scanga, is part of Carlsbad's Art in Public Places Program. Originally called Tree With Bird, it is one of a series of sculptures called Trees For Elijah dedicated to the biblical character, Elijah. It is constructed of flat panels of steel mesh/grid, painted green, and features a bluebird bringing a piece of bread at the top. Sculpted in 1998, it was gifted to the Carlsbad Arts Commission in May 2009.

Seascape Mural - Oceanside, CA, USA
This seascape mural is located on the north exterior wall of the former Vaughan's Market. Vaughan's Market was a family-owned market that was in business at this location for over 50 years.
The mural is signed "Painted By Skull 08' 09'."

The Champion Building - Temecula, CA, USA
This Mission Revival style building was built in 1928 by Allen Champion. It is constructed of clay bricks from the area of Alberhill, near Elsinore. The building has housed a variety of businesses and was the home of The Rite Spot Cafe for many years. From 1974 until 1980 it was the location of the Temecula Post Office. The building underwent remodeling in 1980.
