Van Gogh Mural - Oceanside, CA, USA
In honor of Vincent Van Gogh's birthday, Carlsbad artist Bryan Snyder chose Oceanside as the location of his annual tribute in 2013. This mural was painted on March 30, 2013 in the pedestian alley known as "Artist's Alley."

In 2008 the Oceanside Arts Commission facilitated the painting of 20 gray utility boxes located at the Oceanside Harbor by volunteer artists. The project took two years to complete. The artwork on this utility box depicts children playing on the beach.

O'side Cafe - Oceanside, CA, USA
This Spanish Revival style building, originally a residence, has most recently been the location of the O'side Cafe. In recent years it has housed a variety of businesses including a Psychic, a handmade paper shop, and several different restaurants. As the O'side Cafe the exterior was colorfully painted to resemble a sunrise or sunset.
As of this date the mural is gone. The exterior of the building has been painted a shade of brown and a banner advertises the Grand Opening of a coffee shop.

She Dreams Her World - Encinitas, CA, USA
She Dreams Her World, a sculpture by artist Fred Briscoe, was on display in San Diego Botanic Garden (formerly Quail Botanical Gardens) from September 12, 2009 through March 1, 2010. The 5 ft marble sculpture was part of the second annual Sculpture in the Garden exhibit, a collaboration between San Diego Botanic Garden and the San Diego Fine Art Society.

Sleeping Indian Landscape - Fallbrook, CA, USA

Tree For Elijah - Carlsbad, CA, USA
This approximately 10 ft tall steel sculpture by the late artist, Italo Scanga, is part of Carlsbad's Art in Public Places Program. Originally called Tree With Bird, it is one of a series of sculptures called Trees For Elijah dedicated to the biblical character, Elijah. It is constructed of flat panels of steel mesh/grid, painted green, and features a bluebird bringing a piece of bread at the top. Sculpted in 1998, it was gifted to the Carlsbad Arts Commission in May 2009.

Bike Trail Markers - Oceanside, CA, USA
This 2004 sculpture by artist Alber De Matteis marks the Coastal Rail Trail in Oceanside. The glass mosaic and ferro cement sculpture is 6-1/2 feet tall, 9 feet wide and 1-1/2 feet deep.
